Hour of Code

Hour of Code is coming during Computer Science Education Week, December 9 – 15, 2013. The organizers of this event are attempting to get 10 million students to participate in coding tutorials. They bill it as “a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code” and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, an innovator.”

Easy to follow tutorials are being developed for all ages to use. Schools that are interested in participating can sign up and be eligible for prizes. Click here for the Participation Kit for Schools.  Code On!

Image Resources

I created the following Symbaloo webmix of resources to use to find images that can be used to create sprites, sprite costumes and backdrops for the stage.
